BANK NIFTY STRATEGY
buy 15000 put around 340 / sell 14300 put around 130 ......
in case bank nifty does not come down after policy ..... max risk about 100 / gain can be 400/450 ....

Trading levels --- 2nd / 6th June 2014
The week opened for NIFTY with a crescendo hitting 7500 mark - only for the second time. Bulls tried to consolidate and hold that position around 7450 / 7500 with all their might but could not succeed as the selling pressure continued to mount - finally giving way big time hitting a low of 7269. BANK NIFTY was a major contributor to the fall as it sold of 600 points – nearly 4 % from the top hit early in the morning.
After that, the last 4 days have seen a relatively tepid, range bound market with downside bias.
This Friday we have got a reasonable FII buying figure in cash as well as derivatives segment. That indicates, we may have a positive opening on Monday. BANKNIFTY closed extremely week on Friday. If that weakness continues, this strong opening may be short lived. So we need to watch bank stocks very closely on Monday.
There is lot of froth in banking and I expect levels of 14,300 on BANK NIFTY before some sanity returns. That level generally corresponds to 7025/7050 NIFTY level. SO THESE BECOME CRITICAL LEVELS TO WATCH.
IF WE DO GET 7050 ON NIFTY, WE WILL HAVE A CHANCE TO GET ALL LEADING NIFTY STOCKS ABOUT 8 TO 10 % CHEAPER THAN TODAYS LEVEL. This opportunity should not be missed.
People who are holding decent amount of cash will also have opportunity to invest into HIGH-BETA stocks even at 20 % lower than current prices.
If correction goes deeper than 7000 NIFTY level, we will have to review again. We will do that next week end.
As I always say, we have to play percentages to make money. Bold bravado does not help. WHAT DO YOU SAY ? ? ?
