BANK NIFTY ....

I i expect bank nifty to move to 14700 / 14980 zone in coming 2/3 days ....... you may buy 14800 put at 170 and you can get 50 to 100 % returns in next 3 days ...

BANKING SECTOR ...

as per latest RBI circular , min 7 yr duration INFRA BONDS can be issued with NO CRR / SLR obligations .... but these bonds can not be REDEEMED in this duration ..

even if banks give 0.5 % higher interest than same period FD .... with 7 yr lock-in .... who wl be interested in subscribing ?

even retired govt servant will need to have flexibility to move out of any investment .... SO QUANTUM OF APETITE IS AN ISSUE .... A MAJOR ISSUE ...

currently banks r flush with money ... so there is very little chance that they will go forthis new product .....

as such NO BANK IS GOING TO HV ANY IMPACT ON THEIR RESULTS IN COMING FINANCIAL YEAR 2014/15 .....

as such, i think euphoria in the bank stocks is overdone ... and they shud slide lower gradually ....
